While the creative bug hasn't actually bitten yet, it is crawling up my arm. I can feel it's spindly little legs as it looks for that perfect patch of skin for a bite. Then the itch will start...
While out doing errands on the weekend, I spent some time in Chapters perusing the pages of knitting books hoping for that surge of creativity to hit. I left empty handed on Saturday but there has been one book that seems to have defrosted my creative bug just a bit. Knitting Block by Block has the back of my brain spinning with ideas (the front of my brain is delegated to work and basic tasks today). I think I am going to have to take the plunge and purchase the book.
And I'm still trying to forget about the over-sized stretched canvas that I saw at Michaels on the weekend. I just don't have the room to paint at the moment, especially not on a 5' canvas. (but i reeeeaaalllllyyyy want to).
Knitting is a craft I can keep fairly compact and hide away quickly when needed, not the case with painting and given that I don't have an official craft/hobby room in my current abode knitting is what I'll be sticking with for the next little bit (until we either sell the house or take it off the market).
